Mengenal konsep OFDM

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing atau yang biasa disingkat OFDM merupakan suatu teknik modulasi multicarrier FDM yang hasil sinyal tiap sub-carrier nya saling orthogonal. karena menggunakan prinsip saling orthogonal maka terjadi penghematan bandwidth yang signifikan. dan seperti modulasi multicarrier lainya yang membagi data highrate menjadi beberapa aliran data yang lebih rendah yang mengakibatkan ketahanan terhadap multipath fading. selain itu teknik ini memiliki ketahanan yang tinggi terhadap ISI dan ICI karena disisipkan guard time yang panjang.
